About us

Abzorbing, Sphereing, Orbing. Some of the many names for the latest extreme sport craze sweeping the world. This exhilarating pleasure pursuit involves throwing yourself down a slope whilst emerged in a giant inflatable ball.

Although this sport was invented in 2000, a recent surge in popularity has turned this into a worldwide phenomenon for thrill seekers.

The TPU inflatable spheres are available in various sizes ranging from 2.5m to a massive 3.8m! They feature hundreds of internal string ties that act as shock-absorbers while the ball revolves. The Hyper Core and Hydro Core Spheres have one porthole opening that leads to an inner 'cockpit' for up to two passengers. The clever bit is that there is a two foot air cushion between the passenger and the ground so they are completely safe!

After the balls are inflated (which takes about 15 minutes) they are placed at the top of an incline. Participants are strapped inside and as the ball is launched, the passenger freefalls down a hill reaching speeds of up to 55km per hour. Disoriented with no control, it’s a guaranteed adrenalin rush!

What is TPU - Thermoplastic Urethane

Thermoplastic Urethane Liner (T.P.U.) is a highly sophisticated urethane elastomer (Any of various polymers having the elastic properties of natural rubber) derived from a blend of polyether, polyester and isocyanate monomers. Unlike earlier urethanes that were strictly polyester derivatives, Thermoplastic Urethane Liner (T.P.U.) offers extreme lightweight and low temperature flexibility, and far superior fungal and hydrolysis resistance. Unlike neoprene compounds, Thermoplastic Urethane Liner (T.P.U.) has no volatiles and therefore is also approved for use with potable water.
